Hi,
I have a requirement where we are supposed to perform stock posting programmatically; instead of doing it manually through transaction QA11. I am using BAPI BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION for the same.
I have passed all the values but the stock posting is not getting done. On debugging I found that FM QEVC_PROCESS_AUTO_UD inside the BAPI is throwing sy-subrc = 1. This FM has a few mandatory fields. While using QA11, these fields are left blank and the posting still goes ahead. However, while using the BAPI, we have to pass these fields. The problem is we do not have values.
On further analysis, it seems standard code is trying to change the batch characteristics using FM VB_CHANGE_BATCH and inside it is throwing an hard error (Below screen shot is for reference).
I have searched the forum but have not found a suitable reply.
Is there any workaround for this issue? Or some other alternative? Any help will be highly appreciated and points will be awarded.
