Posting a goods Movement Document

Hi All,

I have been trying to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to post for goods movement. I do not have batch number. So the output of BAPI is not giving me any return message but giving me Material Document Number and Material Document Year which are actually not created. Something wrong is being returned.

While doing the posting manually through MB1C transaction, batch number gets created automatically through configuration.

So is there any way I can achieve it through coding. Generating the Batch Number and posting.

Any pointers will be helpful.
