How to come out of BAdi, Stop execution.

Hi,

I have a requirement in CRM-GTS where there is worklist. This worklist will have many items. User will select any item(s) and create a import declaration by clicking on a button.

Here I had to do some enhancement, for which I have found a BAdi. The requirement is withing the BAdi, for a certain condition I need to show a pop-up error message and stop further execution and stop the creation of import declaration and need to display the refreshed worklist.

How to do this? Can I just use the FM to show pop-up message and use a RETURN statement after that? Will it stop creation of import declaration and go back to the worklist?
