We have a requirement to update the long text of the operation task list in the transaction IA02. We built the logic to get the text name and while trying to update the same using the FM SAVE_TEXT we are facing some issue.
The first line in the existing long text is not getting replaced. Also the first row that I populate in the TLINE internal table of the FM, is not getting updated. Instead if I add a blank first row and then run the FM the first entry in the internal table is getting updated in long text.
I verified by reading the text using READ_TEXT and then after SAVE_TEXT execution again i executed FM READ_TEXT. I was able to see only the updated text. But in the transaction IA02 that first line is always available.
Please suggest some fix to this issue.
