Modify record using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

Hi Experts,

I need help regarding modify a record using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.

There is a record with begin date: 01.01.2008 and end date 31.12.9999 for infotype 0105.

now i need to modify this record's end date as '31.12.2007'. While modifying the record using the above FM, it is throwing a message

like ' No data stored for 0105 in the selected period' type EPG 009.

Please suggest me how would i proceed with it.
