I created a demo webdynrpo program and applicaiton ,but when i run the webdynpro applicaiton ,i get below error.
I don't know why i got this.
Could some one tell me what's the reason? and how to fix it?

How to Pass tags inside tags in Web Service from ABAP
We have a requirement to call an external third party web service from ABAP. The web service has only a single field in it that is <text> </text>.
Now when testing the web service through SAP with the following data :
<text>This is a test message</text>
success response is received.
Now our requirement is to send data like this :
<text>
<SalesOrderID>10005</SalesOrderID>
<DistributionChannel>10</DistributionChannel>
<Division>11</Division>
</text>
Now sending data like this result in an error and the external server is not called at all.
Looking for possible solutions asap.

BADI: LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC -LIPS is not updating
I am using the BAdi LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC and using method SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE and simply writing the following code update for updating LIPS-CHARG field.
But it's not update the field. I've updated the ct_lips also.
if ct_ylips[] IS INITIAL.
APPEND ls_lips TO ct_ylips.
ENDIF.
ls_lips-charg = ls_ekpo-revlv.
MODIFY ct_xlips FROM ls_lips INDEX lv_tabix TRANSPORTING charg.

How to mail a formatted excel(Having complex template from microsoft) file as attachment from presentation server through SAP ABAP
Hello everyone,
I have an requirement to attach an excel file in mail while sending from SAP ABAP. This excel file is a formatted one and its having a proper template which is stored in wwwdata table in sap. My program will pick the file with no changes in format from presentation server i.e. my desktop and will be sent to external email-ids .
I have searched in scn but couldn't get a proper answer which will send the .xls file as attachment with no changes in format of template and data of excel.
Please suggest the approaches how to handle this one.

How to set 'Material Master' tab as default in standard transaction CG54?
Hi All
I am having a requirement to call the transaction CG54 from a custom program. On calling the transaction, I need to put some default values to the input fields and the default tab selected should be 'Material Master'. I am able to default input fields using BDC Transaction call. Can anybody guide me how to set Material Master tab as the default tab selected?

ALV and Crystal Reports challenge
Hi there Gurus.
I already have posted this question in the Crystal section.
Maybe some of you ABAP Guys knows the answer here.
Our Customer have Crystal Reports Template includet so that the user can choose to display ALV in a nice Crystal Report.
We have made changes to the Template, and have included a logo in the top right corner of the Report Header Section.
When the report is started from ALV , a new Report Header Section is made.. and my old Report Header Section is pushed down.
The result is that the Logo no longer is in the top right corner.
The new section is made from ABAP maybe, and has Report Title and some information about which parameters has been used.
I am familiar in Crystal, but not so much in ABAP.
Any suggestions on how to solve this ?
We want the logo to be in the top right corner of the report.

Update TCURR via BAPI_EXCHRATE_CREATEMULTIPLE not updatating conversion factors FFACT, TFACT
Dear All,
is there any known solution on this issue right now:
i'm not getting factors TCURR-FFACT and TCURR-TFACT updated correctly via function module BAPI_EXCHRATE_CREATEMULTIPLE.
Import:
RATE_TYPE FROM_CURR TO_CURR VALID_FROM EXCH_RATE FROM_FACTOR TO_FACTOR
M USD PLN 20140815 3.12850 1 1
Result in table TCURR (inserted record):
KURST FCURR TCURR GDATU UKURS FFACT TFACT
M USD PLN 15.08.2014 3.12850 0 0
Means: However customizing in TCURF (table for factors) is maintained correctly, the FM kills the factors FFCAT and TFACT!?!?!
It looks like the "bug" is located in perform "modify_tcurr_in_update_task":
The two conversion factors are not maintained; they are commented:
* ITCURR-FFACT = PROT-FROM_FACTOR.
* ITCURR-TFACT = PROT-TO_FACTOR.
Anyone here, who solved this bug or has a solution?

Difference between SO10 and 'READ_TEXT'
Hello guys,
I have a question about SO10 texts. I'm using a programm which allows me to automatically replace texts in SO10 texts, e.g. when some director changed in some footer texts.
This works fine, but I just found out one thing that maybe is harmless because its just a displaying problem, but you never know so I'm asking 
The program reads and updates texts with functions 'READ_TEXT' and 'SAVE_TEXT'. Now we're using only the 72 characters when changing SO10 texts (so no extended view with 132 characters in one row), which means after 72 characters we fill text in new row.
Now I have e.g. one SO 10 text which looks like
Now with the programm the string 'longname1 longname2' will be replaced by some shorter name which leads to the fact that 'normalname1' should be moved to first row. When I change it manually in SO10, SAP automatically puts the text in the first row. But when I update it with function 'SAVE_TEXT' and after that display it in a WRITE list, you can see the text 'normalname1' still remains in second row. Only when I after updating the text go to SO10 transaction I see it correct. And if I click on save in SO10 it looks like it gets stored in the database table, because then I can see it in write list as well.
So is this just a displaying problem with transaction SO10 or is more behind it? I mean in this case it doesnt matter because the two lines will be displayed as one row in formula. But maybe there are some cases where it matters?

SQ02 - Advanced code for filtering
Hi all,
I'm trying to filter some of the lines (rows) in STPO table in my query.
The difficulty is that, the condition whether that line will be filtered or not, depends on a field from a different line.
The upper records are to be filtered, because the lower rectangle shows that they have been replaced.
Based on another article (Eliminate Duplicate Records in SAP Query Results | SAP Tribal Knowledge) I did some coding to select these data (bottom rectange) into an internal table and filter the rows that have these values (the upper rectange).
This did not work.
How can I achieve this?

Also, I would like to know how far can I go with ABAP coding of queries, and I want a comprehensive - end-to-end book for this purpose.
I believe most ABAP reports can be recreated using Query reporting + Coding , but the lack of documentation and applied examples are limiting the possibilities.

Smartform If statement
I have created a work address field for an employee on my smartfrom.
None of the fields are mandatory so i would like my form to remove a line/carriage return if the field is blank.
I have tried to do it this way using the command option

Etc.....
Is there an simple way to do this or am i missing anything that may be causing this not to work?

LSMW:Changes done in step 3 don't appear in step 4
I have added a new segment in step 3 of LSMW, I have added a new segment and a new field to this segment.
Now this newly added segment and field don't appear in the setp 4(maintain structure relations) of LSMW for doing the mapping.
What could be the reason? What should be done so that this segment and field are available in step 4?

Hide values/Columns in mb51 report.?
Dear ABAP Experts,
How can I restrict the specific users to hide some columns (Value / Amount) columns for the MM reports MB51 / MB52.
How is it possible.? I dont want to see the amount columns to all users.

Workflow Escalation Issue

Manager (Level 1) approve the Employee Leave request then also his work item is escalated to his higher level manager ( level 2).

Hi experts,
I need to create custom table for a new process in MM module by referring MSEG and MKPF table fields.
1 way : To add fields that we want to custom table from standard table.
2 way : Store only document no and year in custom table and when we need fetch data from standard table.
So I want to know what is the best way to do it..
