Report like MCE7 select by mtart, no number ranges

I need a report essentially like MCE7.  Select by Material Type.

I've seen Executing MCE7 with Material Type as a selection criteria

My numbers material types have overlapping number ranges and FERT for instance returns over 19K materials.  Therefore, the above won't work for us.  I guess I could copy the tcode, but you know how ugly that can get...
